Rich Smukler returns to The Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts

For the third consecutive year Rich Smukler will be exhibiting at The Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts’ 103rd annual juried exhibition. The opening reception and award presentations will be Thursday, June 26th from 6PM to 8PM. This year the noted jurors are William Butcher and Claudia Seymour. The exhibition will run from June 13 – July 26, 2014 and is open to the public. As in years past, the exhibition will be held at the picturesque Mystic Arts Center in the heart of Mystic, Connecticut. You can meet the artist at the opening.

Smukler’s work this year is entitled Filigree. It captures the essence of photography in that it paints with light and shadow.
